Have you heard of the Suzuki method, which is based on the idea that everyone can learn to play? Maestro Valdas Povilaitis presents Suzuki Cello Orchestra, gathering young cellists of various ages.
The youngest performers start to play together with their parents and by observing the cheerful performances of the older members of the orchestra develop their musical interest further. Children are neither rushed to learn nor encouraged to compete. The aim here becomes the nurturing of the child with love. Love for the music and cello.
The orchestra constantly tours in Lithuania and other countries such as Belgium, Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia and Germany.
After the concert the bravest listeners together with their parents are warmly invited to try and play the cello. Let’s experience the joy of music making together!
